The orchestra has existed for at least 35-40 years, and is known as
one of North London's friendliest orchestras.
The current team, listed below, has been working together at the same
rehearsal and concert venue for at least the last ten or eleven years.
Keith Bramich studied with Lawrence Leonard, Rodolfo Saglimbeni,
George Hurst, Paul Sarcich and Mary Mogil. He joined the orchestra
in 2008 and is also a regular guest conductor of several other ensembles
in the South East, and of a choir in Worcestershire.
Elizabeth Ann Binks studied at the Guildhall School of Music and was
awarded the AGSM and the Salzmann Scholarship. She has worked with
the Philharmonia, Royal Philharmonic, Scottish Opera, BBC Concert Orchestra
and D'Oyly Carte Opera Company, and has led the Virtuosi of London.
Valerie Scarr is our capable treasurer. In addition to managing the orchestra's
finances, including collecting subscriptions from orchestral members, she also
sets orchestral term dates, liaises with the church for rehearsal dates etc, and
provides the refreshments for rehearsal breaks.
